Publishing a book with Purpose with SPARK Publications is not a fit for everyone. Being a deep introvert filled with fear, I’ve needed to push beyond so many of my boundaries. In doing so, I’ve built quite a journey, have learned so much from the journey of others. Fabi's Bio:

Fabi Preslar is owner and president of SPARK Publications, a creative firm specializing in custom design for magazines, catalogs, and books for print, digital, and interactive formats. Her clients include national associations, independent publishers, and professionals who share their knowledge to educate and enlighten their audiences. Her firm will soon celebrate its 20th year in business.

Although a deep introvert, Fabi has pushed her personal boundaries to accomplish much more than she ever thought possible. She was celebrated as the 2017 Women Business Owner of the Year by the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO)–Charlotte Chapter, was recently named Marketer of the Year by the Business Marketing Association of the Carolinas, was honored with a Career Mastered National Leadership Award and has twice been celebrated as a Mecklenburg Times 50 Most Influential Woman. She serves as a mentor and advisor with the Women's Inter-Cultural Exchange and mentors several women small business owners. She’s also publisher of b2bTRIBE magazine and author of On Heaven’s Couch: My Journey with a Masterful Mentor.

Her second book, The Fabulous F-Words of Business Ownership, will launch in summer 2018. It shares her strong entrepreneurial passion as well as her journey through fear, failure, faith, and a variety of other F words along the way. Her days are surrounded by her firm’s creativity and a very talented team, which includes her husband of 32 years, Larry, and their daughter, Sofi.
