Disrupt Now Podcast, Ep. 54, Why Showing Up Is How You Make a Real Impact in This World
Showing up, especially showing up for yourself, and having integrity are two VERY IMPORTANT values that I hold closely when dealing with other people. It’s how I assess who they are at the very core.
Here’s an equation that I came up with:consistency + courage to keep showing up = success & impact In this episode, we discuss how showing up for YOU and how showing up for others around you is how you can make a REAL impact in this world. The co-owners of Interview Connections, Jessica Rhodes and Margy Feldhuhn, join Natalie Viglione and the Disrupt Now Podcast special invite co-host for this one, Diane McDermott, in this episode that’s chock full of wisdom!
What we dive into:
So what is the meaning of “showing up?” How you show up at a basic level is when you make the self-investment to do the things in your own life that you say you’re going to do. It really is the foundation of self-love, and it’s how you can attend to your own physical, relational, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual needs. It’s how you show up to build self-respect, self-trust, and authenticity.
And, that’s why this is such a great podcast episode! Showing up is extremely essential and changes the game when you own a business, and is truly how you can really make an impact in this world and with others.
